POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Tift Gymnastics Academy’s recreational classes run year-round in 8-week sessions, including summer. You may register at any time during the year, remaining classes in that session will be prorated. Placement will be made based on class availability and skill level.
There is a once-a-year non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 per family. The registration fee and tuition are due upon registration. We must have a current signed registration/waiver form on file before students participate.
TUITION: Full tuition is due every session, unless a payment arrangement has been made. Please make your check payable to: Tift Gymnastics Academy or TGA. Accounts that are paid after the first class of the new session will be charged a $10.00 late fee.
DISCOUNTS: A 5% sibling discount will be given to the lowest priced class. Refer a friend and receive $10 off your next session!
FREE TRIAL CLASS: We offer 1 free trial class per student. Please schedule with the front desk for an appropriate class and be prepared to fill out and sign a waiver.
WITHDRAWALS: Your child’s place in class is automatically held from session to session. This enables us to not have to require contracts. Should you decide to drop any or all classes, a Notice of Withdrawal form must be received 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the following session. If notice is not received by the 2 week deadline, you will be responsible for tuition in full. If a student misses 2 classes without notification, that student will be dropped from all classes.
RETURNED CHECKS: If your check is returned by your bank, you will be charged the amount of the check in addition to a $25.00 return check charge.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Students are allowed 1 make-up class per session. The make-up classes must be within a 2-week period of the date of absence. Please call and schedule a make-up class with the front desk. Because of our student to teacher ratio, there will be no refunds or credits for missed classes. Missed classes will not result in pro-rated tuition or refunds.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the event of inclement weather, please call and check the recording at the gym. We will follow the schedule of the Tift County School System. We will provide a make-up class for any class that is cancelled due to weather or circumstances beyond our control.
CLASSES: Classes will be added as needed. All classes (days, times) are subject to change based on enrollment. You will be notified of any changes. At least two students are needed to keep a class open.
